EDWARDSVILLE, Ill. – SIUE men's soccer junior defender Bobby Pauly (St. Charles, Missouri) has been honored for his work on the field and in the classroom.
Pauly has been selected to the Academic All- District® team as chosen by College Sports Communicators.
To be eligible for selection, players must appear in 90 percent of their team's contests or 66 percent of games started as well as earning a minimum 3.5 cumulative grade point average.
Pauly anchored the SIUE defense, starting all 19 games on the Cougars' backline. He currently has a 3.902 grade point average, majoring in exercise science.
Academic All-District® honorees are considered for advancement to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot. First-, second- and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced in early December.
