EDWARDSVILLE, Ill. – SIUE Athletics is excited to announce a new, exclusive auction item for this year's Red & Black Benefit presented by Simmons Hanly Conroy – the Cougar Bourbon Barrel. This rustic, one-of-a-kind SIUE themed barrel will come with premium bourbon bottles that will be announced as we get closer to the event, making it a must-have for bourbon enthusiasts and Cougar fans alike. 

The Cougar Bourbon Barrel will be auctioned off at the Red & Black Benefit presented by Simmons Hanly Conroy, the annual fundraising gala for SIUE Athletics. Raffle tickets for this item are priced at $100 and only 250 will be sold on a first come, first serve basis. You do not need to attend the Red & Black Benefit to win the Cougar Bourbon Barrel or participate in the silent auction. The Cougar Bourbon Barrel is on display at home events at First Community Arena.  About the Red & Black Benefit presented by Simmons Hanly Conroy: 

The Red & Black Benefit presented by Simmons Hanly Conroy is the signature fundraiser for SIUE Athletics, bringing together sponsors, alumni, and donors to celebrate SIUE Athletics and raise meaningful funds for Cougar student-athletes. All proceeds from the event will benefit the Cougars Champions Fund, the primary fundraising arm of SIUE Athletics.  

This year's event will be hosted on Saturday, March 29th at the Hilton St. Louis at the Ballpark at 5 p.m.The event will feature a silent and live auction as well as the opportunity to mingle with SIUE student-athletes, coaches and administrators.
