EDWARDSVILLE, Ill. – SIUE Athletics completed the 2025-26 Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) Executive Board. Assistant Athletic Director/Student Athlete Success, Ashley Beaton Simpson will serve as the boards's advisor.
Senior Cydney Rogers (tennis) has been named SAAC President for the upcoming year after serving as Secretary las year. Junior Taylor Babb (women's soccer), previously held the Communication Manager position, will now serve as Vice President. Jouning them is senior Macy Silvey (women's basketball) who will take on the role of External Operations and junior Zach Renz (men's soccer) acting as Internal Operations.
"I'm super excited to lead SAAC this year in a new way that I feel that I can excel, said Rogers. "I have always been confident in my leadership and public speaking abilities, so this is a role I am excited for."
The members of the Executive Board are comprised of current SIUE student-athletes. The Executive Board along with other student-athletes offer insight on rules, regulations and policies that affect other student-athletes a part of an NCAA affiliated institution.
"We have a really great executive board coming in this year and I feel confident we will be able to come up with some new and fun ideas for our student athletes," Rogers stated.
