EVANSVILLE, Ind. - Evansville scored three first-half goals to defeat SIUE women's soccer at McCutchan Stadium.
The Cougars held their opponents scoreless in the second half of Sunday's contest and have now held opponents scoreless in the second half in three consecutive contests.
SIUE dropped to 1-4-1 with Sunday's loss. Evansville improved to 3-1. The Cougars now return home to face sister school SIU Carbondale next Thursday at 7 p.m. There will be a 618 Sticker Giveaway Thursday at Korte Stadium.

Sarah Bozeman collected a career-best eight saves in goal for the Cougars.
Evansville picked up goals from Taylor Wehrer (10:36), Kathryn Tyler (21:45) and Lilliana Kytasaari (33:25). Allie Lammers recorded two saves in goal for the Purple Aces.
