• This is the 11th all-time meeting between the Cougars and the Billikens. Saint Louis holds an 8-1-1 advantage in the series. The Billikens won last season's neutral site game at CITYPARK 6-1.
• SIUE recorded a season-best 12 shots Thursday in the loss to SIU Carbondale. Claire Nieroda led the Cougars with five shots.
• Nieroda also is the team leader in shots for the season with 14. Savannah DeFini is second with 10.
• Alayna Hauser became the third player to score multiple goals this season. Her game-tying goal in the second half against SIU Carbondale makes her the second freshman this season with more than one goal. Amanda Dean is the other.
• Dean scored her second goal of the season against Missouri State, joining Savannah DeFini for the team lead in scoring with four points.
• Of the 12 players who have scored a goal or an assist, six are freshmen - Dean, Hauser, Anna Zichella, Zoe Bumiller, Claire Nieroda and Akeelah Omokhua.
• Sarah Bozeman has started six games in goal for the Cougars and has a 2.50 goals against average with 34 saves.

• This is the 18th season for Head Coach Derek Burton, who took over the SIUE women's soccer program when it jumped to the Division I level before the 2008 season. Burton has led SIUE to five Ohio Valley Conference titles and five NCAA Tournament appearances (2014, 2016, 2020, 2021 and 2022).
