EDWARDSVILLE, Ill. - SIUE volleyball will head to Cape Girardeau, Missouri, this weekend for their second conference series of the season, facing Southeast Missouri State (SEMO). Friday's match is set for 6 p.m., while Saturday's contest will begin at 1 p.m.

SERIES: SIUE and Southeast Missouri State have met 34 times in program history, with the Cougars owning a 15-19 overall record against the Redhawks, including a 6-13 mark at Houck Field House.

STANDOUT STATS: SIUE volleyball ranks first in the OVC in service aces at 1.77 per set, and fourth in assists at 582 (10.98 per set).

AT THE NET: A pair of senior Cougars lead SIUE's defensive efforts at the net, with
Anika Ivester leading the OVC in blocks per set (1.04), and
Vienna Elliott at sixth with 0.83 per set. Elliott is also tied for the conference lead in solo blocks with nine this season.

Paige Bernstein ranks among the OVC's top 10 in both assists (8th, 266) and service aces (6th, 19). Sophomore setter
Ally Hughes ranks 10th in the conference in assists with 231 on the season. Sophomore defensive specialist

Teagan Sullivan sits at eighth with 12.

LAST WEEK: The Cougars opened conference play last weekend against UT Martin, falling in straight sets in the opening match before responding with a reverse sweep the following afternoon. SIUE will enter this weekend with a 1-1 record in OVC play.
