EDWARDSVILLE, Ill. – Senior Chase Bloomer from baseball has received Prairie Farms Cougar of the Week Honors after his performance against Morehead State.
 
 
Bloomer had a standout weekend in Mohead Ky. He appeared at the plate 14 times, with nine hits, bringing in 11 RBIs.
 
Bloomer also had four home runs, including a grand slam in game three helping the Cougars to their weekend sweep. After the weekend he leads the Cougars and the Ohio Valley Conference in home runs.
 
The Prairie Farms Cougar of the Week Honors an SIUE student-athlete who demonstrated excellence in competition.
