EDWARDSVILLE, Ill. – SIUE baseball senior Chase Bloomer (Ottawa, Kansas) has received Prairie Farms Cougar of the Week honors after a standout performance against Eastern Illinois last weekend.
Bloomer hit .533 for the weekend going 8-for-15 at the plate. He added a double, three homers and seven RBIs. With two hits Saturday, Bloomer became SIUE's all-time Division hits lead and now has 238 for his career.
The Prairie Farms Cougar of the Week Honors an SIUE student-athlete who demonstrated excellence in competition.
