EDWARDSVILLE, Ill. – For the first time, SIUE baseball will be the No. 1 seed in next week's Ohio Valley Conference Baseball Championship. The event will be held Tue.-Sat. at Mtn Dew Park in Marion, Illinois.

As the regular season champion and the No. 1 seed, the Cougars will have a bye to Thursday. SIUE will play at 1:00 p.m. against a to-be-determined opponent.

Tickets are $30 for an all-session pass, $10 per adult per day and $5 per day for children (18 and under) and college students with valid ID. Tickets can be purchased online or in-person at Mtn Dew Park. All seats are general admission for the OVC Championship.

This year's bracket includes two single elimination games on Tuesday, with the winners advancing to the double elimination portion of the bracket which will include the No. 1 and 2 seeds (who receive byes until Thursday's games).
