Jordan Bishop

Jordan Bishop joined the SIUE women's soccer program as an assistant coach in July 2014.

A former standout player at Iowa State University, Bishop brings a wealth of knowledge as a player and as a coach.

Bishop played three seasons for the Des Moines (Iowa) Menace of the Women's Premier Soccer League from 2012-2014. She was the team Most Valuable Player and first team All-Midwest selection in 2013. Her professional career included a stint with the Boston Breakers in 2010.

A member of the Big 12 Conference All-Newcomer team as a freshman in 2007 at Iowa State, Bishop's collegiate career included 13 assists, which is fifth on the Cyclones' all-time list. She was a two-time Offensive Most Valuable Player for Iowa State in 2009 and 2010. Bishop led the Cyclones in assists (5) during the 2008 season and in shots (33) during the 2009 season.

Bishop moved into coaching as a graduate assistant and director of operations at Auburn University in 2012 and 2013. Her duties included working with Auburn's coaching staff on and off the playing field, including a number of administrative duties.

She earned a bachelor's degree from Iowa State in kinesiology and health science in 2012 and her master's in higher education administration – sports management at Auburn in 2014.
