Head Coach Kendall Paulus added Hunter Ray as a Graduate Assistant Coach in July 2024.

Ray comes to SIUE from Ole Miss where he was a graduate manager where he coordinated drill preparation while assisting in recruiting and scouting duties.

Also possessing experience on the club level, Ray was an assistant coach with United VBA in New Braunfels, Texas. There he assisted the U-15 National Level club in a variety of duties including the development of practice plans, organization and scheduling for team tournaments.

Ray earned a bachelor's degree in public health from Texas State. He is currently pursuing his master’s degree in higher education at SIUE.
