Kaysie Shebeneck

Shebeneck comes to SIUE from Bradley University in Peoria, Illinois, where she served for two seasons as assistant coach and recruiting coordinator. In her time at Bradley, Shebeneck saw the program ascend to a pair of winning seasons. Her tenure in Peoria was highlighted by a run to the semifinals of the 2020-21 Missouri Valley Conference Volleyball Championship and the program's first national postseason tournament win since 2018 with a Round of 64 victory in the 2021 National Invitational Volleyball Championship (NIVC).

Prior to her time at Bradley, Shebeneck also spent time at Buffalo. Her lone year with the Bulls saw her take the reins of the program's setters in addition to assisting with the team's recruiting efforts and administrative duties.

Shebeneck also served as the Director of Operations at Washington State, where she helped the WSU Cougars to a 41-26 combined record during the 2017 and 2018 seasons.  WSU earned a pair of NCAA Tournament invites during her tenure, putting together a 23-10 campaign in 2018 and helping the WSU Cougars to the Sweet 16 after a 2017 season in which WSU advanced to the Second Round.

The Racine, Wis., native played collegiately at Texas A&M, where she helped the Aggies to four consecutive NCAA Tournament appearances and a Southeastern Conference crown in 2015. Texas A&M was 84-38 during her time donning the Aggie uniform, closing out her time in College Station with degrees in both Spanish and International Studies.

Shebeneck was also a standout student-athlete in her prep career, earning Wisconsin Gatorade Player of the Year honors in her junior and senior years. Shebeneck also has a wealth of experience coaching at the club level, spending time with Club ZZU in Pullman, Washington, and the Aggie Elite Volleyball Club during the 2016 and 2017 seasons.
