Cougars Overpower McKendree

Jennifer Trame hammered 10 kills while Tricia Winter added eight as the Cougars defeated McKendree College 3-0 at the Valadabene Center Tuesday night.
SIUE (4-1) hit .345 compared to -.049 for McKendree (0-2).
Leading the way defensively for SIUE was Allison Buss with 12 digs, followed by Sarah Watts with 10.
SIUE controlled the first two games of the match, outlasting McKendree 30-17 in both. SIUE came from behind to take game three 30-20.
SIUE now will set their sights on the Nebraska-Kearney Tournament. They play St. Mary's Friday at 2 p.m., then Nebraska-Kearney at 8 p.m. Saturday, they will face Midwestern State at noon and Chadron at 4 p.m. -siue cougars-
