If SIUE had any frustrations going into Friday's volleyball match, it took them out on Kentucky Wesleyan.
         SIUE hit .527 as a team, breaking the school record it set earlier this season, in a 3-0 sweep of the visiting Panthers. Game scores were 30-10, 30-6 and 30-12.
         Leading the way for the Cougars was Tina Talsma's 11-kill performance. She registered a .562 hitting percentage. Allison Buss hit .600 which included 10 kills. Krystal Majernik had 39 assists.
         As a team, SIUE had 55 kills and seven errors on 91 attempts for its .527 hitting percentage. SIUE broke the previous hitting-percentage record of .476, set earlier this year against West Virginia State.
         SIUE improves to 12-2 and 1-0 in the Great Lakes Valley Conference and will play host to Southern Indiana Saturday at the Vadalabene Center. First serve is set for 1 p.m.
