Cougars Rolls Over McKendree

         LEBANON, Ill. - Southern Illinois University Edwardsville walked in and flew out with a 30-16, 30-17, 30-24 victory at McKendree on Tuesday.
         Shannon Winkeler led the Cougars with 13 kills on 23 attacks. Heather Bonde was the only other Cougar with double-digit kills with 10 in two games played. Tina Talsma hit an outstanding .800 with eight kills on 10 attempts. Allison Buss added nine kills.
         SIUE improved to 11-4 while McKendree fell to 4-10.
         SIUE Coach Todd Gober relied on his bench to pull. the Cougars through using only three players in all three games. As a team, SIUE hit .351 with 55 kills. The Cougars also accumulated 11 service aces.
         The Cougars' next action is Friday at Northern Kentucky followed by a trip to Kentucky Wesleyan on Saturday.
