         EDWARDSVILLE, ILL. -- The Southern Illinois University Edwardsville volleyball team continue its school record winning streak to 13 games on Tuesday night.
         SIUE, 22-5 overall and 12-2 in the Great Lakes Valley Conference, defeated Kentucky Wesleyan 30-13, 30-12, 30-12.
         Freshman Jenny Gilman led the Cougars with a career-high seven kills and a .667 hitting percentage.
         Senior Heather Bonde notched six kills, while Jamie Jones, Melissa Spann, and Emily Rahn each had five.
         The Cougars hit .447 for the match holding the Panthers to just a .022 hitting percentage. It was the fourth best hitting percentage in a match all-time for SIUE.
         SIUE used a different setter in each game. Krystal Majernik collected 14 assists in game one followed by Mallory Clements with 13 in game two and Jenny Heimann with 13 in game three.
         Erin Krodel and Meredith Krodel each had seven kills for KWC as they fall to 2-21 overall and 0-14 in the GLVC.
         SIUE returns to action Friday against Indianapolis for a 7 p.m. home-court match. It will also be Senior night on Friday.
