EDWARDSVILLE, Ill. - The No. 14 ranked Southern Illinois University Edwardsville Cougars pounced on Kentucky Wesleyan Friday at the Vadalabene Center.
         SIUE dominated the Panthers in three straight games with scores of 30-14, 30-10 and 30-13.
         The match was the last regular season contest for the Cougars and the win gave them an undefeated record of 16-0 in the Great Lakes Valley Conference while increasing their overall record to 25-4.
         SIUE was led by Tricia Happe who had 10 kills and Jamie Jones followed with seven kills.
         With the loss the Panthers dropped to 2-26 overall and 0-15 in the GLVC.
         The Cougars who are the No. 1 seed in the GLVC will host the conference tournament which will start Thursday at the VC. SIUE will learn its first round opponent after conference play concludes Saturday.
