COOKEVILLE, Tenn. - Tennessee Tech won four of six singles matches Friday and captured a 5-2 victory over Southern Illinois University Edwardsville in women's college tennis results.

SIUE dropped to 3-14 overall with the loss while Tennessee Tech improved to 2-10.

Maggie Boeckman and Ali Wulfers were the singles winners for the Cougars. Boeckman defeated TTU's Frederike Kahl 6-3, 6-1 at No. 3 singles. Wulfers won by retirement over Joanna Corkhern in the first set.

The Cougars now travel to Martin, Tenn., to take on Eastern Kentucky in a neutral site match. Saturday's start time is set for 3 p.m.
