MARTIN, Tenn. - Eastern Kentucky downed Southern Illinois University Edwardsville 6-0 in a neutral site women's tennis match Saturday.

EKU ran its record to 12-14 while SIUE dropped to 3-14.

Myriam Mhirit led the Colonels with a 6-1, 6-1 victory over Kelsey Laird at No. 1 singles. Maggie Boeckman posted the closest match of the contest but lost to Alyze Pagal at No. 3 singles 7-5, 6-4.

No doubles were played.

This match ends SIUE road events. SIUE now has three home events to close out the season beginning with Austin Peay next Saturday.
