The Cougars, who finish the regular season with a Missouri Valley Conference game Saturday at Loyola, used 18 different players Tuesday.
"It was nice to mix the performances of our younger players with the leadership exhibited by our older players," Korn said.
Kickoff Saturday is set for 7 p.m. in Chicago. With a win, SIUE will clinch the MVC's regular season title and the No. 1 seed for the postseason tournament.
"We got tested in a tough environment today," Korn added. "We will use this experience and we will lean on it as we go against another tough opponent in Loyola Saturday."
