EDWARDSVILLE, Ill. – SIUE men's soccer will play host to UIS Saturday night in its final exhibition match before the regular season.

Schedule posters and SIUE fandanas will be given out at the gate. The game will feature the St. Louis Discdogs performing at halftime. There will be prize giveaways throughout the game.

EXPERIENCE SIUE: The final men's soccer preseason game each season has become part of the SIUE Experience-the orientation program for first-year students.

MISSOURI VALLEY HONORS: Defender Max Broughton and midfielder Pau Palacin were each chosen to the All-MVC preseason team.

PRESEASON POLL: SIUE was picked to finish third in the MVC in a preseason poll conducted of the league's head coaches.

LAST SEASON: The Cougars finished with six wins total, including four in the Missouri Valley Conference. SIUE finished third in the MVC.

SCOUTING THE STARS: The Prairie Starts finished with 13 wins a season ago, including 10 wins in the Great Lakes Valley Conference. UIS advanced to the NCAA Division II tournament where it defeated Maryville in the first round.
