U.S. Air Force, Colo. – Alex Eickhoff and Brady Kaufmann are tied for sixth and SIUE golf is fourth overall after the first round of play at the Gene Miranda Falcon Invitational completed Saturday.

The Cougars (+4) sit six strokes back of the leader, Colorado State (-2). Utah State (+2) and San Jose State (+3) sit second and third, respectively.

Eickhoff and Kaufmann each carded first-round scores of 71 (-1). Colorado State's Matthew Wilkinson is the individual lead at seven under.

Brent Reintjes and Will Simpson are tied at three-over par. Preston Bily is 12 over after one round.

The second round gets underway Sunday morning at 8:15 a.m. MT.
