SIUE Wrestling Announces 2025-26 Schedule

EDWARDSVILLE, Ill. – SIUE wrestling Head Coach Jeremy Spates announced the 2025-26 schedule Monday with a lineup that offers some unique challenges for the Cougars.

SIUE begins the season with two new tournaments. The Cougars travel to Clarion, Pennsylvania, Nov. 2 for the Clarion Open, a tournament which features Air Force, Bellarmine, Buffalo, Clarion, Cornell, Edinboro, and Ohio State. SIUE then heads north to Iowa State for the Cyclone Invitational Nov. 8 in Ames, Iowa.

The Cougars have six home dates on the schedule beginning Nov. 15 for a 5 p.m. dual against Northwestern. Maryville and Aurora make their way to First Community Arena for action on Nov. 23.

The SIUE Cougar Clash returns Dec. 7 featuring Brown, Little Rock, Illinois, Missouri, Northern Colorado, Northern Iowa, and Oklahoma joining the Cougars.

The rest of the home schedule includes Little Rock (Jan. 10) plus Mid-American Conference opponents Edinboro (Jan. 10), Kent State (Jan. 24) and Central Michigan (Jan. 25).

SIUE travels to Norman, Oklahoma, Dec. 21 for three matches against Oklahoma, LIU and Duke and closes out the 2025 calendar year with the Midlands (Dec. 29-30) hosted by Northwestern.

The rest of the regular season schedule features travel for the Cougars in MAC duals at Ohio (Jan. 17), Buffalo (Feb. 24) and Northern Illinois (Feb. 20).

The Cougars also are scheduled to travel to the Greyhound Open at Indianapolis Feb. 8.

The 2026 MAC Tournament is scheduled for March 6-7 in Buffalo, N.Y., with the aim to qualify individuals for the NCAA Division I Championships March 19-21 in Cleveland, Ohio.
