EDWARDSVILLE, Ill. – SIUE women's soccer and Lindenwood battled to a 0-0 tie Thursday in Ohio Valley Conference play at Korte Stadium.
SIUE, 2-9-3 overall and 1-2-2 in the OVC, next faces Southern Indiana in a 1 p.m. Sunday in Evansville, Indiana.
Lindenwood is now 5-4-4 for the season with a 2-2-1 record in league play.
Sarah Bozeman recorded her second shutout of the season for the Cougars with three saves, including one in the waning seconds of the contest. Caroline Ritter had one save on the other side of the field for the Lions.
SIUE collected eight shots, including on off the post. Savannah DeFini led SIUE with four shots while Zoe Bumiller added a pair.
Anna Johnson powered the Lions' offense with six shots.
