EDWARDSVILLE, Ill. – SIUE women's tennis earned the No. 4 seed for the 2025 Ohio Valley Conference Tournament and begins play Thursday against fifth-seeded Lindenwood at the Dwight Davis Tennis Center in St. Louis.

The Cougars, the defending OVC champions, face the Lions in a noon match. The eight-team tournament begins Thursday with four quarterfinal matches. Top-seeded Southeast Missouri plays No. 8 seed Tennessee State at 9 a.m. No. 2 seed Western Illinois meets No. 7 seed Southern Indiana at 3 p.m. No. 3 seed Bryant matches up against No. 6 seed Eastern Illinois.

The top two seeds for the OVC Tournament were based on OVC regular season standings. The rest of the bracket was determined by current ITA (Intercollegiate Tennis Association) rankings.

The semifinals are to be played Friday with a championship match set for Saturday at noon.
