CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. – SIUE track and field wrapped up day two of the Ohio Valley Championships. The meet was ended early due to weather conditions. Women's discus, women's long jump and the men's high jump event will be rescheduled for tomorrow.
HURDLES & SPRINTS
Both
Taylor Lehman and
Simon McClaine qualified for the men's 110m hurdles. In the women's 100m hurdles
Vashanti Reynolds and
Mia Jackson qualified as well for the finals.
Konrad Sacha ran the men's 400m where he qualified for finals with a time of 48.00. On the women's side
Kaylee Allen qualified with a time of 57.28.
FINAL RESULTS
Tanner Emerson finished in sixth place for the men's 3000m steeple chase with a time of 9:51.41. For the women's 3000m steeple
Mia Loafman finished in fourth with a time of 11:37.47. Following her was
Erica Woodard in ninth with a time of 12:05.33.
For the women's high jump
Aseanti Boone placed seventh with a height of 1.64m (5-4.50).
Zaria Searcy followed in eighth also with a height of 1.64m.
Harper Smith finished in 13
th with a height of 1.49m (4-10.75).
Grant Milbrath finished in sixth for the men's discus with a distance of 47.85m (157-0).
