EDWARDSVILLE, Ill. – SIUE women's basketball Head Coach Samantha Quigley Smith announced her program's 2025-26 nonconference schedule Tuesday.
 
The Cougars will tip off the season with an exhibition match at Saint Louis (Oct. 21) followed by a regular season lineup featuring 10 games, starting with Missouri Baptist (Nov. 3) at First Community Arena.
 
Road highlights included contests at Eastern Kentucky (Nov. 7), Northwestern (Nov. 9), Missouri (Dec.7) and Valparaiso (Dec. 12).
 
The team will have a stretch of home games, with visits from Indiana State (Nov. 19), Northern Illinois (Nov. 21), Evansville (Nov. 25) and Calumet College (Dec. 5). The nonconference season wraps up with Harris Stowe (Dec.14).
 
The 10 nonconference games are in addition to the 20-game Ohio Valley Conference schedule released in August.
 
"We are excited to get going with this year's nonconference schedule" Head Coach Sam Smith said. "Our strategy was to get our program moving in a successful direction once the OVC season begins. We want to be prepared by we also want to have a level of confidence built. Our team is learning a lot, work hard in this preseason and read to attack the non-conference."
 
Season tickets are on sale now. Single game tickets and mini plans for SIUE Basketball will go on sale in October.
