EDWARDSVILLE, Ill. – Sarah Bozeman recorded her first shutout as a Cougar Thursday as SIUE and Tennessee Tech battled to a 0-0 tie at Korte Stadium.

Bozeman grabbed six saves with two in the first half and four more in the second half.

SIUE is now 0-1-1 in the OVC and 1-8-2 overall. Tennessee Tech holds at 0-6-6 overall and 0-0-2 in the OVC.

Alayna Hauser led the Cougar offense with three shots. The Cougars also picked up shots from Claire Nieroda, Savannah DeFini and Anna Zichella.

The Golden Eagles' Maggie Conrad finished with three saves in goal. Lucia Cuadra and Allison Lee each had three shots.

SIUE returns to action Sunday with a noon contest at Little Rock.
