WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. – SIUE golfers Brady Kaufmann and Will Simpson have each earned All-Ohio Valley Conference honors announced today ahead of the OVC Championship. Kaufmann has been selected to the All-OVC first team and Simpson has earned a spot on the All-OVC second team.

Kaufmann becomes the first three-time All-OVC first team honoree in school history, and he began his career as the OVC Freshman of the Year in 2023. Entering this year's tournament, Kaufmann leads the Cougars and is third in the OVC in scoring average at 71.6. He has a pair of top-10 finishes this season. He tied his career low round with a 66 at SIUE's Dolenc Invitational.

Simpson is being honored for the second year in a row after being named to the second team and the All-Newcomer team last season. Entering the tournament, Simpson is second on the team and seventh in the OVC in scoring average at 72.3. He also has enjoyed a pair of top-10 finishes this season. He tied his career low with a 67 earlier this year at UT Martin's Grover Page Classic. He tied his career low for a 54-hole total with a 209 at SIUE's Dolenc Invitational.

The OVC Championship gets underway Sunday at Purdue's Ackerman-Allen Course.
