EDWARDSVILLE, Ill. – SIUE golf Head Coach Derrick Brown has announced the addition of freshman Rajan Roth (Wayland, Iowa) to his roster ahead of the upcoming season.

Roth joins the Cougars from Washington High School.

Following his high school career, Roth had a productive summer including a sixth-place finish at the 2026 Iowa Amateur with rounds of 67- 76- 68. He finished 13th at the 2026 Iowa Masters with rounds of 71-72-71 and also finished 11th at the 2026 Waterloo Open with rounds of 76-67-69.

Roth advanced to the sweet 16 of Iowa Match Play.

The Cougars open their season at UT Martin's Grove Page Classic Sep. 14-15.
