Noller turned in the top SIUE performance of the championships in a day when several Cougars earned All-American status. Noller's throw of 160 feet, 4 inches (48.88) was equal to that of runner-up Katie McMeel, of Central Washington, in terms of feet and inches, but Noller's toss was 0.02 meters past McMeel.         Deserea Brown (Flossmoor), the GLVC Freshman of the Year, took fourth place and All-American status in the 400-meter hurdles with a time of 59.33. It is the first time in school history that a Cougar has broken the 60-second barrier.
Steve Landers (Auburn) placed fifth for All-American status in the men's discus. His throw of 168-7 (51.39) was two inches shorter than his previous best.
