FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. - Four SIUE Cougars competed Friday at the Arkansas Twilight.

The Cougar next head to Charleston, Illinois, for the Ohio Valley Conference Championships (May 13-15).

SIUE HIGHLIGHTS

-- Catherine Jakich won the women's shot put (43-5). She also was the runner-up in the hammer (145-7).

-- Ethan Poston was the winner in the high jump (6-6.75)

-- Austin Lynch placed fourth in the discus (159-4).

-- John Barnes placed fourth in the hammer (175-4)

"While we didn't get results we wanted out of today we did gain great experience and worked on execution for our conference meet. I'm excited to see our entire team compete for podium spots after peak training."
