EDWARDSVILLE, Ill. - SIUE women's tennis welcomes Bradley and Eastern Illinois to campus this weekend for the Cougar Invite.

The two-day event, which begins Friday at the SIUE Tennis Courts, will be a flighted singles and doubles tournament. There will be three flights of singles play and three flights of doubles play.

"We are excited to kick off the fall season and compete on the home courts," said SIUE women's tennis Head Coach Adam Albertsen. "With four newcomers joining the family, it will be great to see how the compete and step up in their first event as Cougars. There is a lot of talent returning to our lineup, and I can't wait to see this team take a step forward at the Cougar Invite."

The schedule calls for the tournament to start at 10 a.m. Friday and 8 a.m. Saturday.
