SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – SIUE golf is back on the course for Missouri State's Twin Oaks Intercollegiate. The Cougars and 12 other participants are delayed until Monday afternoon due to cold weather.
The teams will complete roughly half of the 54 holes Monday and then complete the tournament Tuesday.
The rest of the field includes host Missouri State, Bradley, Austin Peay, Oral Roberts, Western Illinois, Drake, UT Martin, Omaha, Northern Iowa, Lindenwood, Wichita State and Evangel in Springfield.
After a year away, the tournament has returned to Twin Oaks Country Club where the Cougars own two of the top five 54-hole totals in tournament history. SIUE has the tournament record for 54-hole total, shooting an 858 at the 2021 tournament.
Past Cougar golfers have twice won championships at Missouri State
The Course is 6,760 yards and is a par 71.
