Edwardsville, Ill- SIUE track, and field will travel to Columbia, Missouri for the Alexis Jarrett Invitational. The Cougars last competed at the Saluki Fast Start Dec. 8, right before winter break. This weekend will mark the second indoor meet of the season.

Saturday field events will start at 9:00 a.m. with the men's weight throw, and conclude with women's shot put at 4:20 p.m. Track events will begin at 3:00 p.m. with the men's mile, and conclude with the 4x400 women's relay at 7:00 p.m.

Senior
Taylor Lehman kicked off his indoor season setting a program record in the 60m hurdles, at the Saluki Fast Start. Lehman ran 8.25, good for second at the meet and second in the programs all-time history. Freshman
Payton Carter made her colligate debut setting a program record in pole vault. Carter recorded a height of 3.65m, claiming second at the Saluki Fast Start.

The Cougars had multiple freshmen make their college debut at the Saluki Fast Start. Including,
Abigail Irvin who competed in the women's weigh throw and shot put, Teegan Sullivan who finished sixth in the long jump at 5.47m.
Jazmin West,
Darrelle Rice and
Kennedy Williams all made their debut in the women's 200 event. On the men's side
Casey Borkowski ran the men's 300m taking ninth.
