ST. CHARLES, Mo. – Volleyball had their third three set win against Lindenwood. The Cougars dominated with set scores of 25-21, 25-8, 25-21.
Kyndia Smith led the team with 11 kills hitting at .556 percent, a new career high.
Sophie Robinson followed Smith with 10 kills at a .333 percent, and 12 digs for another double-double on the season.
Olivia Hogan also had 12 digs for the Cougars.
Paige Bernstein guided the attack with 22 assists and was followed by
Ally Hughes who had 17.
The win pushes SIUE to 9-7 on the season and 4-1 in the OVC. While Lindenwood goes to 6--7 over all and 2-3 in OVC play.
SIUE's offense dominated the net with 49 kills, on a .358 hitting percentage. They also had 45 assists, five service aces, eight block assists, and 43 digs. While Lindenwood only had 28 kills, three aces, four blocks, 28 assists and 37 digs.
Up next, the Cougars return home for the weekend to take on Little Rock Oct. 10-11.
