COLLEGE STATION, Texas – Sophomore Grant Milbrath competed at the NCAA DI West First Round earlier today. He competed in the men's hammer throw event.
 
Milbrath gave a fighting effort but fouled all three throws wrapping up his 2025 season.
 
"Although the day didn't go how we wanted, we are proud of the season Grant had, improving nearly eight meters to qualify, this opportunity was a great experience, assistant coach Erin Wykoff said. "Even though he didn't advance he is one of the top 48 hammer athletes in the region and top 95 in the country. He also was second in the conference and holds third place on our all-time record board."
