EDWARDSVILLE, Ill. –Junior
Simon McClaine (Alton, Ill.) and freshman
Olivia Hansen (Sweden) from men's and women's track and field have received Prairie Farms Cougar of the Week Honors after their performances at the Joey Haines Invitational (April 4).
Both McClaine and Hansen found second-place finishes in the men's and women's 400m hurdles. McClaine crossed the finish line with a time of 55.26, and Hansen finished at 1:06.53. Both currently rank fourth in the Ohio Valley Conference.
The Prairie Farms Cougar of the Week Honors an SIUE student-athlete who demonstrated excellence in competition.
