Bradley Defeats Cougars 6-1

         PEORIA, Ill. - The Southern Illinois University Edwardsville men's tennis team dropped a 6-1 decision to the Bradley Braves Saturday at the Clubs at River City in Peoria.
         The loss will put the team at a record of 2-4 for the season.
         The team started by losing the doubles point with losses at No. 1 and No. 2 8-4, 8-5. Jordan Faulkenberg and Devan Faulkenberg were victors at No. 2 doubles 8-3 over Bradley's Trevor McGrath and Michel Macara-Chvili.
         In singles, the Cougars attempted to come back starting at No. 1 singles where Paulo Gonzalez would lose in a tie breaker 6-0, 5-7, 10-4. The Cougars picked a point at No. 6 singles when Jordan Faulkenberg defeated McGrath 6-1, 6-1.
         The Cougars will have a full weekend next week as they play matches four straight days. SIUE faces off against Truman State in Elsah Thursday and then travels to Fort Wayne, Ind., to take on Robert Morris, Dayton and IUPU-Ft. Wayne.
