EDWARDSVILLE, Ill. – SIUE men's tennis player Patrick Gaffigan (Springfield, Illinois) was named second team All-Ohio Valley Conference Thursday by a vote of the league's head coaches.
Gaffigan finished the season with a 14-14 overall record and a 13-7 record in dual singles matches. His 7-2 record in OVC matches was a team best.
The Cougar senior won his last three matches of the season, finishing 12-6 in No. 3 singles matches.
Gaffigan and teammate Tristan Houle were 9-8 in dual doubles matches and 5-2 in OVC play. Gaffigan also was 3-0 with teammate Marten Jonsson in doubles matches during the fall season.
