JACKSONVILLE, Ala. - Jacksonville State swept all nine matches Sunday in a 7-0 rout over Southern Illinois University Edwardsville in women's college tennis.

The Gamecocks improved to 5-6 for the season while SIUE dropped to 1-10. The Cougars now move on to Daytona Beach, Fla, where they will take on Embry-Riddle in a 3:30 p.m. match.

On Sunday, SIUE's No. 1 singles Carli Connors recorded the most competitive match of the day. Connors dropped the first set in a tiebreaker 7-6 (7-4) and then lost the second set 6-4.

All five of the other singles matches went straight sets.
