EDWARDSVILLE, Ill. - Austin Peay defeated Southern Illinois University Edwardsville 6-1 in men's college tennis at the SIUE Tennis Courts.

The Cougars fall to 1-13 for the season while the Governors improved to 6-5.

Senior Carlos Sanchez posted the only singles win in No. 5 singles for SIUE over Renan Bezerra 8-4.

SIUE will close out the dual season on April 22 against Northern Illinois at the SIUE Tennis Courts. Match time is 4 p.m.
