MEN'S HIGHLIGHTS
--SIUE placed fifth at the EIU Big Blue Classic with 51 points.
--Ethan Poston leaped 6-11 in the high jump and is now No. 3 on SIUE's all-time list. He defeated a field of six jumpers for the event title.
--Brandon Bretz edged out Miami's Jacob Matthews by .05 in the 400 to win among a field of 17 sprinters. He ran a season-best time of 48.36.
--Austin Lynch placed fifth in the hammer throw (175-3)
--Daniel Card bested his season PR in the hammer throw by five feet (157-7)
--John Barnes took fifth in the shot put with SIUE's best toss of the season (51-7). Barnes set a season PR in the hammer throw (165-2).
--Blake Panagos placed fifth in the steeplechase (10:22.36)
--Landon Skelly has now run SIUE's three fastest times of the season in the 1,500 (4:01.51). Skelly added a season-best 1:57.17 in the 800.
--Bobby Nuzzo placed seventh among 29 runners in the 200 (22.59)
