EDWARDSVILLE, Ill. - The SIUE track and field team will compete this week at the Illini Invitational on the campus of the University of Illinois.

The two-day meet begins Friday with the hammer throw, javelin, long jump and pole vault as well as the 200, the 400 hurdles, the 1,500 and the 5,000. All other events are set for Saturday.

The field includes teams from SIUE, SIU Carbondale, Illinois State, Bradley, Illinois Chicago, Drake, Eastern Illinois, Carroll (Wisconsin), Western Michigan and IUPUI.
