EDWARDSVILLE, Ill. – Ethan Poston is heading back to the postseason.
The SIUE high jumper has qualified for the 2022 NCAA Division I West Preliminary Round to be held in Fayetteville, Arkansas.
The men's high jump will take place May 27th at 2:30 p.m. The full regional round is scheduled for May 25-28 at John McDonnell Field.
Poston is listed among the 48 jumpers to compete at the event. His mark of 2.14 meters (7 feet, 0.25 inches) at the Outdoor Music City Challenge (April 29-30) placed his tied for 21st in the region. That mark also tied his personal best overall and was his best ever outdoors.
The Cougar senior previously competed at the 2021 NCAA West Preliminary Round, placing 21st overall.
