BRENTWOOD, Tenn. – The Ohio Valley Conference announced their track and field indoor watch list Tuesday.
Tanner Emerson returns as the reigning OVC Men's 3000m indoor champion after winning the title last season with a personal best time of 8:21.36.
SIUE also had four athletes named to the OVC Indoor Track and Field Athletes to watch list.
Konrad Sacha was named the men's indoor track athlete to watch. Sacha posted a personal best time of 7.18 in the 60m at the Saluki Fast Start last season and went on to place sixth in the 400m at the OVC Indoor Championships with a time of 49.30.
Grant Milbrath earned recognition as the Cougars' men's field athlete to watch. Milbrath has opened the 2026 indoor season strong, winning the weight throw with a mark of 21.63m at the Alexis Jarrett Invitational. The throw ranks second all-time in the programs top five indoor performances.
On the women's side Christ Muldrew-Shank was selected as SIUE's track athlete to watch. Muldrew joins the Cougars after competing at Campbellsville University. She had a standout cross country season this fall with the Cougars, setting a new program record in the 6k at the OVC Championships with a time of 21:11.42 and looks to carry the momentum into the indoor track and field season.
Zaria Searcy was named SIUE women's field athlete to watch. Searcy opened the season with a third-place finish in the high jump at the Saluki Fast Start, clearing 1.65m (5-5). Last season, she placed third at the OVC Indoor Championships with a personal best high jump of 1.68m (5-6).
