Killian Named SIUE Women’s Soccer Assistant Coach

EDWARDSVILLE, Ill. – SIUE women's soccer Head Coach Derek Burton announced the appointment of Olivia Killian as an assistant coach Friday.

Killian spent the past two seasons coaching at Parkside, where she helped lead the Rangers to the semifinals at the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Tournament in 2025.

A native of Minocqua, Wisconsin, Killian was a top line defender and captain for Ripon College where she played 41 games over four seasons with the Red Hawks. She earned a bachelor's degree in physical education with minors in Health and Adaptive PE from Ripon in 2023. She spent one season as an assistant coach for Ripon.

Upon graduating from Ripon in 2023, she secured a position at North Fond du Lac High School as a physical education teacher.

Killian has had a variety of coaching experiences. She was a student coach for the Ripon women's basketball team from 2021-23 and as an assistant girls' soccer coach for United High School in 2023. She was a club soccer coach for the U11, U14 and high school AC Toros teams out of Franklin, Wisconsin, for the past two seasons as well as a team coach for the Wisconsin Olympic Development Program (ODP) for the past two years.

A 2018 graduate of Lakeland Union High School, Killian was a three-sport standout in volleyball, basketball and soccer.
