BANDON, Ore. – Two SIUE golfers are inside the top 30 and SIUE golf is 11^th after the first round at the Bandon Dunes Championship.

The Cougars shot 287 (+3) for the day. Oregon State (-21) and Oregon (-16) hold down the top two spots. Utah Tech and Sacramento State are five-under and tied for third.

Brady Kaufmann and Tomas Rascon both fired a first-round 70 (-1) and are tied for 27^th. Will Simpson shot even par and is tied for 36^th.

Brent Reintjes is tied for 43^rd after a 72 (+1) in the first round.

Preston Bily is five-over and tied for 79^th. Max Bruening is tied for 91^st at eight-over.

Oregon State's Nguyen Anh Minh is atop the individual leaderboard at 10-under. Four golfers are tied for second at five-under.

The second round gets underway at 9:45 CT Monday at the Pacific Dunes Course.
