Wisconsin-Parkside got goals from Megan Jurvis and Carley Huber as the Rangers defeated SIUE 2-1 Sunday at Korte Stadium.
         The Cougars (7-3 overall, 1-3 Great Lakes Valley Conference) have now dropped two straight GLVC contests.
         Jurvis opened the scoring in the 31st minute when she snuck the ball past SIUE goalkeeper Kristin Covalt. Carley Huber, who assisted on Jurvis' goal, scored in the 55th minute to give the Rangers (8-1-2, 4-0-2) a 2-0 advantage.
         Thirty-four seconds later, Angela Light scored an unassisted goal to pull the Cougars within one, but they could not capitalize down the stretch.
         The Cougars continue GLVC play next weekend when they travel to Northern Kentucky and Indianapolis.
