EDWARDSVILLE, Ill. - Southern Illinois University Edwardsville outshot Northern Kentucky 24-10 Sunday but suffered its second straight setback 1-0 at Korte Stadium.
         SIUE, 3-3 overall and 1-2 in the Great Lakes Valley Conference, held a 14-2 advantage in shots at halftime.
         Jeanna Goettelman scored the game-winner at 5:08 for the Norse, which improved to 4-2 and 2-2 in the GLVC. Jayme Light and Amy Law provided a double-assist on the goal.
         Goettelman also became the team goalkeeper in the final eight minutes of the game when NKU goalkeeper Jenna Kramer became injured on an SIUE scoring opportunity.
         SIUE is now idle until Friday when it travels to face UW-Parkside in a 3:30 p.m. game in Kenosha, Wis.
